� � � We made our way down to the lobby where the breakfast was being served, and man what a breakfast it was! In the lobby the 8th. Air Force veterans were beginning to arrive for their reunion and I suddenly wanted to stay for a few more days! Calmer heads prevailed (Nancy's, of course) and we sat down to eat with Dan Oxley, his wife, Jeannie Pannell and Arlon Pyles and I tried my best to soak up any last tidbits of information from them that I could. We checked out at 10:30am and headed home. The trip was uneventful and we arrived here at about 9:30pm. All in all this was one of the highlights of my entire life!
