THE OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS
CONCERNING THE "HAT-IN-THE-RING"

Here are two Official documents concerning the return of the use of the insignia to the squadron following it's use as the logo for Rickenbackers failed automotive company. Unfortunately there is no metion of whether or not it was "official" to wear the "Hat-in-the-Ring" silver pins.
